Paul tells us that we cannot be separated from the love of God. Have you ever felt separate from His love? Do you feel that way now? Take the time to explore why you feel this way. Pray about these feelings and to feel connected to God's love.

Jesus Washes His Disciples' Feet
It was just before the Passover Feast. Jesus knew that the time had come for him to leave this world and go to the Father. Having loved his own who were in the world, he now showed them the full extent of his love.
The evening meal was being served, and the devil had already prompted Judas Iscariot, son of Simon, to betray Jesus. Jesus knew that the Father had put all things under his power, and that he had come from God and was returning to God; so he got up from the meal, took off his outer clothing, and wrapped a towel around his waist. After that, he poured water into a basin and began to wash his disciples' feet, drying them with the towel that was wrapped around him.
He came to Simon Peter, who said to him, "Lord, are you going to wash my feet?"
Jesus replied, "You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand."
"No," said Peter, "you shall never wash my feet."
Jesus answered, "Unless I wash you, you have no part with me."
"Then, Lord," Simon Peter replied, "not just my feet but my hands and my head as well!"

Jesus told Peter that he could not have a relationship with him if he did not allow him to wash his feet. What areas of your life that you are not allowing God into? Explore how this hinders you from having a loving relationship with God.

Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.

Love is the determination to benefits others at your own expense. God demonstrated his love when he sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. As a result, we also ought to love one another. Are you actively loving others? What is the nature of your relationship with other believers? Is your love a witness for unbelievers?
