* In the Parable of the Talents what do the talents represent?
* What did the Master expect the servants to do while he was away on his long journey? What does Jesus Christ expect us to do in his absence? What kind of changes do you have to make to put His agenda first?
* Compare the attitude of the first two servants to the third. Why do you think the third servant buried his talent? What are you doing with your talents? Have you let excuses keep you from doing what God expects? How?
* Contrast the Master's response to each of the three servants. What does His response suggest? Share how it makes you feel.

* Divide into groups of 2 or 3 and take 5 minutes to pray for each other's needs. Then take another 5 minutes to listen to God and write down what you believe he is saying to you.
