V Introduction
* Bible Reading 11/18 - 11/24: Ezek 37 - 48; James 1:19 - 1Pet 3:7; Psalm 117:1 - 119-64; Prov 28:1-13
V New Material
V Discussion Questions / Topics (based on the indicated scriptures)
V Group A: Ephesians 2:8-10 (New International Version):
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
V Discuss the meaning of the following truths:
* Salvation is a gift of God received by grace through faith.
* Salvation cannot be earned by doing good deeds.
* How has your understanding of these truths impacted your thoughts and actions?
V Group B: Daniel 1:3-4 (New International Version):
Then the king ordered Ashpenaz, chief of his court officials, to bring in some of the Israelites from the royal family and the nobility - young men without any physical defect, handsome, showing aptitude for every kind of learning, well informed, quick to understand, and qualified to serve in the king's palace. He was to teach them the language and literature of the Babylonians.
* What are some of the good works you believe God created you to do?
* Jesus used parables to teach people. (See Luke 15 for example). Brainstorm a list of creative ideas for sharing the gospel that we can commit to prayer.
* Discuss your thoughts on how the Daniel passage relates to young people in your community.
V Witnessing Activities For This Week's Life Group Meetings
* Make sure everyone in your life group has a prayer partner.
* Pick a base of operations as a focus for your group's outreach ministry.
* Plan a social event for your group to which you can invite some of the unbelievers you've been praying for.
