V God initiates covenant with Abram
* Abram's question seeks assurance
* This indicates the deepening of their relationship
* God walks through the divided pieces by himself
V God wants your offspring to be like the stars in the sky too!
V To experience this you have to be like Abram:

* Talk to God

* Read God's Word with the intention of understanding it and practicing it.
V Look to Jesus - Num 21:4-9; John 3:13-18; John 6:35-40;

* Doing your own thing is death.
