* Elijah and the widow of Zarepath - 1Kings 7:7-16
* Elisha and the widow's cruse of oil - 2Kings 4:1-7
* Most people would rather improve some aspect of what they're already doing instead of doing something different.

* Paul's resurrection discourse - 1Cor 15:1-34
V Discussion Questions
V Reflect on Mat 28:1-10
* How did you come to believe that Jesus rose from the dead?
* Who noticed the changes in your life after you were born again? What did they notice?
V Reflect on John 2:23 - 3:12
* How did your understanding of the Kingdom of God change after you were born again?
* Which, if any, of the Spirits activities were you able to recognize that you hadn't before?
* What aspects of your life as someone "born of the Spirit" have unbelievers NOT been able to understand?
V Reflect on Eph 1:1-23
* Consider vs. 4-8. Describe some of the ways in which God's grace has been lavished on you.
* Consider Paul's prayer in vs. 17 - 19a. Have you ever prayed this prayer for yourself or for others?
* In vs. 17-21 we read about God's incomparably great power FOR us who believe and we are told that this power is like the power that raised Jesus from the dead. Do you believe what this says? In what ways do you behave consistently with these verses? In what ways do you behave inconsistently with these verses?
V Works Activities For This Week's Life Group Meetings
* List the people in your sphere of influence.
V Go over the people in your list and share with your group the answers to the following questions:
* How badly to you want to see this person saved?
* How much time have you spent praying for him/her? On your own? With a prayer partner?
* What are you willing to do differently to see this person saved?
